Worcester
It is Located in Worcestershire which is a non-metropolitan country of England and also positioned between two regions i.e Birmingham and Gloucester. It comes under west midlands region and also recognised as a non-metropolitan district. River Severn flows in this area. The region has approximately 1 lakh population. Battle of Worcester is one of the final and deadliest wars of this region. The world oldest newspaper Berrow’s Worcester journal is published here.
History
Roman Ryknild Street was trade route in New Stone age. During 3th century, Worcester lost most of the area to Roman Empire. St. Helen’s is the famous church of this region. The major devastation of this town happened in 1041 after rebellion for taxation. A few more wars were followed in this era. The cloth industry boomed during medieval era where 10000 population approximately shifted to this industry and ultimately hub for corporate world. The Severn River flood did a lot more damage to the property. During Second World War time, the role of this city was very prominent. It was the termed as the safest evacuation route in case of the forces of the German invade.

Worcester city council is looking after its administration. Robin walker of the conservative party is the current MP of this region.
Climate
It has a temperature with warm summers and mild winters throughout the year. It also experience some more extreme climatic and flooding conditions. The average rainfall of this region is below 600 mm.
Demography and religion
Most of the population is white and a large section of society follow Christian which accounts 79% of the population. 21% of the population does not follow any religion.
Economy
The economy is favorable to many light industries. The glove industry is the suitable example which is accelerating at constant pace. Other are engineering products, machinery tools, sauce industry and shopping centers.
