Bromley is situated in England and located at south east of Charing Cross. It is a district of London. Bromley is recognised as metropolitan centre of the London Plan. It was a market town and a parish in the Kent. In 1903, it was termed as a municipal borough. It developed as a significant district.
Governance:
It is the part of the London and the Bromley and Chislehurst Parliament constituency. The present Member of Parliament is Bob Neill.

In London Plan, Bromley is marked as the metropolitan centre. This town has retail areas which include pedestrianized High Street and The Glades centre.
Transport:
Rail:
Bromley has two railway stations. One is Bromley South station and other is Bromley North Station. The South station provides services to London Victoria. The north station provides services to London Bridge and Charing Cross.
Buses:
Transport for London services serve Bromley with their bus service. They connect Bromley with Catford, Hayes, Grove Park and Orpington.
Culture:
This city has many theatres. These are Churchill Theatre (founded on 1977) and Bromley Little Theatre. The Churchill Theatre is administered by the Ambassador Theatre Group. This group acts as producing as well as receiving the house. All the seven continents can be seen from the top of the Kentish Times building.
Education:
Bromley has many schools. These are Hayes school, Ravensbourne School and Bishop Justus School. The London Borough of Bromley has many independent schools which include Eltham College and Bromley High College. Bishop Justus is a new school which is a music specialist school and college.
Landmarks:
The St Peter and St Paul church are situated on Church road. On 16 April 1941, it was destroyed by enemy’s actions. St Mark is another famous church that is situated in Westmoreland Road.
